Paula Hamann was one of my favorite people. She was loud, unapologetically herself, and she had the biggest heart of all. Paula challenged me to run a race for her, a marathon, so she told me to run for the Herren Project for her. The pandemic had different plans and the marathon didn't work out but then the opportunity to run Falmouth for her came up. This was serendipity. There is no better race I could run to honor my friend and support a project dear to us both.
