Tyler and I had our first child in August of 2019. This special little boy is Nolan David Abreau and was born with Spina Bifida. With the help of the amazing surgeons and neurosurgery team at MGH, Nolan conquered 7 surgeries his first year of life and has not needed one since! He is doing absolutely amazing and continues to steal everyone’s heart who meets him!
Nolan has inspired us to become active members in the SBAGNE and help support other families and individuals that have Spina Bifida. Nolan turned out to be the most resilient, sweet and cuddly, funny, charming and bright child we love with all our hearts. I will be running this race on behalf of Nolan and his perseverance through all the obstacles he has overcome since birth. He is our miracle, and an inspiration to our family and we hope he inspires others to donate to the wonderful work that the SBAGNE has done and will continue to do!

Description
I am proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race this year in support of the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England.
This tiny, but mighty, organization does incredible work providing resources, advocacy, education, and community for the estimated 4,400 individuals and families living with Spina Bifida in all 6 New England states. It has made a huge impact on me and my family, and I greatly appreciate your generous support!
With your help, SBAGNE can provide:
- One welcome package to a new family with Spina Bifida ($25)
- One SBAGNE Virtual Program ($50)
- Critical information and resources via e-newsletters to our membership and New England clinics ($100)
- One Empowerment Grant for an individual with Spina Bifida to try a new experience ($250)
- One scholarship to our Regional Education Conference ($500)
- Support for one family to attend our Teen Empowerment Weekend ($1,000)
