My Story…
I am so excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race for Hospitality Homes!
Why am I running? Because Hospitality Homes provides real, tangible assistance to patients and their families. Around Boston, it’s easy to take our access to world class healthcare for granted. Unfortunately, the reality for many patients is that they must travel to obtain the care they need, and that travel comes with a significant cost. Hospitality Homes helps ease that burden by providing housing for families traveling to the Boston area for lifesaving (or life-altering) treatment.
Why should you donate? Because every bit helps. Whether you can spare $5 or $50, every dollar is appreciated and will go to further this important cause.
Thank you for your support!
Description
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm so proud to be a member of TEAM HOSPITALITY HOMES in this year's Falmouth Road Race!
Your support means the world to me and will help continue to provide housing for patients and families traveling to Boston for critical medical treatment.
With the prohibitively expensive costs of local hotels- averaging $260 per night- and the lack of sufficient hospital- sponsored housing, many patients struggle with what to do, balancing these and other out-of-pocket expenses with the already high cost of responding to a complex or chronic illness.
Your donation is fully tax-deductible, as Hospitality Homes is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
