Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page…I am so excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race again this year and especially excited to be running with Team Genisis for the second time!

As many of you know, the races I have run in the past were to honor my brother Michael and his battle with ALS.  The love and generosity I have received in support of him and others with ALS has been humbling to say the least.  

I could never thank you enough! 

While I still feel very passionate about CCALS and everything they do, this year I have again decided to run for Team Genesis and mental health. Genesis Club House is an amazing organization that focuses on helping people with mental health issues and the challenges that come along with it. 

Mental illness and the stigma of having mental health issues is another cause that is very close to my heart.  It has touched my life and the lives of so many others in profound ways.

And AGAIN I will run for my daughter.

This year marks four years since the loss of my daughter Mikayla. On March 24, 2019, Mikayla lost her battle with drug addiction. For her, the pain of living with mental illness was more than she could take and certainly more than she deserved.  While she was unable to conquer this for herself and nothing can bring her back, I am confident in knowing that with our love and support, others like her will benefit in so many ways.

So, in honor of her and every person living with mental illness, I ask you to join me in supporting Team Genesis.
