My Story…
I became a NICU parent in November, 2018 and was thrown right into the NICU world along with many other families. Dominic was born at 29 weeks and had several setbacks and achiements along the way. Project sweet peas helped with welcome bags and information for parents and caregivers as well giving us support and gifts along the way. One memorable gift was when Dominic was sent back to the NICU after graduating to the special care nursery after getting an infection and project sweet peas had donated a target gift card for me to get a present or toy for Dominic to look forward to when he hopefully, finally got home. They also help with bereavement boxes and support for those that are not able to make it home with their infants. I will never forget the support we received while in the NICU and protect sweet peas is a big part of that support. Thank you for considering donating to help all those caregivers currently in the NICU.
