Hello and welcome to my fundraising page for Boston Scores! I am so excited to run the 51st Falmouth Road Race with Boston Scores. I grew up spending time in the summer on the cape. A popular local race, it is very hard to get a bib for the Falmouth Road Race. So, when the opportunity presented itself to finally participate in the race for Boston Scores, I was thrilled! I grew up playing soccer from 4 years old to being a freshman in college. Playing soccer for nearly two decades made me the person I am, from teaching me about discipline and hard work on a craft, to social-emotional skills and other invaluable developmental tools that enable me to be resilient, a problem-solver, and a team player in all facets of my life. It's also where I met some of my best friends. I am so excited to support a program that promotes access to recreation and socio-emotional supports for Boston youth. Following the pandemic, youth need regular access to mentorship, recreation, and out-of-school time supports. This is especially true for students from underserved communities who may not have access to the same resources I had the privilege of growing up with.
