Help Allison raise money

Hi everyone! As some of you may know, I now work in the ACCU (Acute Cardiac Care Unit) at Boston Children’s Hospital! I have learned so much since I started and I have fallen in love with this patient population. These tiny humans may be so sick, but they are truly little warriors. The care, passion, and support that I have seen thus far for the families of those with congenital heart defects (CHDs) is admirable. Working in this environment has motivated me to become more involved, which is why I decided that I am going to run the Falmouth Road Race this year for the Heart Warrior Foundation.  This foundation was started by two families that were directly impacted by continual heart defects and spent time in the Heart Center at Boston Children’s. This foundation raises money to support, educate, and raise awareness for children and their families who are battling CHDs. Hospital stays for those with CHDs can be long and frequent, causing a large strain on families and their support systems.
