My Story…
I’m thrilled to run for the 2nd year in a row with WBYC. Williams Be Yourself Challenge means so much to me and my family.
Running the Falmouth road race with William’s friends and family running and cheering along side last year was amazing. And just as with last year- the money we raise this year goes directly into the community to help create fun, educational, community events that bring people together.
WBYC is a grass roots non profit that is making a real difference whether through organizing activities like parkour or hosting speakers addressing mental health. It is such a wonderful, tangible, and impactful way to honor and remember William.
Not a day goes by that we don’t mourn the loss of this sweet smart bright brilliant 9 year old boy taken too soon in a tragic skiing accident on Feb 19, 2019. His family and friends all miss him so much. As a WBYC runner I have a unique opportunity to raise money and celebrate his life with the people who knew and loved him best. It is truly an honor.
Now that I know the course, I am hoping to run a little faster - but my main priority is to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while spreading William’s message to all:
BE YOURSELF!
Please consider a donation- and help keep William’s memory alive! Even the smallest amount makes a difference!
Thanks, Kate
