I'm running the 51st ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
Hi everyone! I am honored and privileged to be running the Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF). JAF is a non-profit organization that specializes in bringing, help, hope, and a reason to smile, to New England cancer patients and their families.
Since the Foundation's inception in 2008, JAF has given more than $10 million in financial assistance to more than 40,000 cancer patients in New England. With JAF's help, patients can focus on treatment and not worry about how they'll pay to keep the lights on, put food on the table, and more. JAF is a place I am incredibly fortunate to work at and see and hear firsthand how vital its work is to so many.
Additionally, I am running to honor the immortal legacy of my brother, Patrick Beauregard. Pat was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer at age 29 in September 2017, a month after getting married. For three years, Pat endured 40+ rounds of chemotherapy, clinical trials, surgeries, and more--even becoming a colorectal cancer advocate and appearing locally on Boston Fox 25 and nationally on NBC's The Today Show. Though he, unfortunately, passed in September 2020, Pat's work lives on, and there's still more work to be done--and we will get it done.
Please join me in supporting JAF by helping me reach my fundraising goal and bring more help, hope, and a reason to smile, to cancer patients and their families. Thank you and LFG!
