Help Edward raise money

Hello All!

This is my 3rd year running the Falmouth Road Race and I’m honored to be part of team MDSC once again. I ran my first race 3 years ago and it motivated me to learn to love running and even run and complete the Boston Marathon. I hope to run for team MDSC in Falmouth every year and to make this a yearly tradition to get in shape and run for a good cause. 

My little sister Thais has Down syndrome and I want to dedicate this run and every run I do to her! My parents run a non-profit group that is affiliated with the MDSC called FamiliaUpDown. They help Brazilian and Portuguese speaking families with Down Syndrome in the Massachusetts community. They help spread awareness and get families the help and information they need. 

By running for team MDSC, I want to help raise money for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress that will go towards programs to help individuals with Down syndrome, programs that will help raise awareness and ensure individuals with Down syndrome are included, valued and given equal opportunities.
