I'm honored to run the Falmouth Road Race for the second consecutive year. It has been an honor to serve Ronald McDonald House of New England as Chair of the Communications Committee, making meals for families with friends & co-workers and of course running side by side with my fellow fundraisers.
If you're able to donate, know that your funds go directly to help families who are often facing their darkest hours. If you can't, I encourage you to spend some time at the house and meet the team making a difference day-in and day-out.
Description
Each year hundreds of families travel to New England from locations all over the world to give their child access to the best medical care. In doing so, they face enormous hurdles such as navigating the complexities of the health care system, extraordinarily high local housing costs, and excessive emotional and physical stress. At the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England we remove the stress of daily living and support families to enable them to focus on what really matters: their child’s health and healing.
On August 20, 2023 Team RMHCNE will hit the pavement to race the historic 7 mile course, while raising critical funds to support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence and the Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor.
This year Team RMHCNE will work together to provide nearly 400 nights of housing, comfort and support for families of critically ill children. Together, we can reduce the stress associated with financial strain so families can focus on the health of their children.
