I am running my very first race to fundraise (and raise awareness) for the efforts put forth by the MDSC to not only advocate for my nephew Tate, but for the entire Massachusetts Down syndrome community. It is imperative that we continue to make sure Tate and others are valued and included and given opportunities to have fulfilling lives that we all (sometimes) take for granted.

This August I will be running as a member of Team Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) for the ASICS Falmouth Road Race in support of individuals with Down syndrome.
