Help Nicole raise money

The Falmouth Road Race has held a very special place in my heart since I was a little girl. I grew up spending many summers on the cape visiting my grandparents in Falmouth, and going to the road race to cheer on the runners at Falmouth Heights - especially team Hoyt - are to this day some of my greatest memories. 

When I run this race I do so in loving memory of my beautiful grandmother, Janet LaPrad. While she unfortunately passed away in August of 2020, I know she is still cheering me on from Heaven every step of the way! A true artist and lover of all things nature, especially the ocean, the scenery of this race route is truly unmatched and couldn't be a more perfect way to remember her <3 

I also have the honor to represent and raise funds for a Foundation that not only directly supports my students, but honors the life of one of my dearest friend's brothers, David Brodeur. Major David Brodeur tragically lost his life in Afghanistan during active duty in 2011. The Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation was created by close friends, family and community members to honor his friendship and his leadership throughout childhood and as a USAF Major and fighter pilot. The Foundation works collaboratively with students of the Auburn Public Schools District to provide grants, scholarships and other opportunities in the areas of academics, leadership, community and extra-curricular activities. Future generations will remember his legacy and benefit from the generosity of those who donate to this foundation.
