Fundraising for Cures!
I am excited to share that I have been given the opportunity to join the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis by participating in the Falmouth Road Race this summer. As a Crohn’s patient myself, I am grateful to be able to run for those with Crohn’s disease who might be struggling to find answers or support, are frustrated in achieving remission, relapsing, or are just sick of being sick!
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is the largest non-profit, voluntary, health organization dedicated to finding cures for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Approximately 1.6 million Americans currently have Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. The Foundation’s mission is to cure these diseases, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults who are affected by these diseases.
