“Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.”
This will be my 5th year running the Falmouth Road Race for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod! I love running and raising money for Habitat each year, but this year, being a first time home buyer, I feel an even more personal connection to this community. I know how difficult and discouraging it can be to find a home on Cape Cod in the current housing market, and Habitat of Cape Cod gives families hope and possibility of doing that.

Habitat Cape Cod partners with families in need of an affordable home to build one of their own; fostering stability, self-reliance and a strong sense of community.
Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has developed over 170 affordable homes on Cape Cod. Local families help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Homes are deed restricted to remain affordable in perpetuity. With the support of Habitat and community contributors, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
