Help Maria raise money

As someone who was born at Brockton Hospital/Signature Healthcare, worked for years as a Physician Assistant in the Signature Healthcare Emergency Department, and is a very involved member of the Brockton community, I know how important it is to have accessible and clinically strong healthcare options in this city, and supporting Signature Healthcare is important to me. 

As the daughter and sister of two amazing women who have each successfully fought cancer TWICE, I know how difficult it is to attend frequent appointments and treatments in Boston for weeks and months at a time in order to fight this disease, and how critical it is for a community hospital to offer excellent comprehensive oncology services and treatment options for cancer patients at a facility that is convenient and close to home. This removes a huge barrier for patients who are already feeling unwell and exhausted (travel time/navigating traffic to Boston, transportation challenges, gas and parking costs, travel sickness, etc.). The Greene Cancer Center makes care more accessible, and could make a difference for patients in their ability to receive necessary treatment in a timely way. The Greene Cancer Center at Signature Healthcare in Brockton provides excellent clinical services , plus the critical components of accessibility and convenience.

Lastly, if you know me, you also know that I love to run, and my favorite race of all is the Falmouth Road Race. (I have run it over 20 times but have lost track of exactly how many times!) This year, I will be proud to wear the Signature Healthcare shirt during the race, and I hope you will consider supporting my fund-raising endeavors to help support the Signature Healthcare's Greene Cancer Center- "Bringing Boston to Brockton", and to honor those who have battled in the past or are currently bravely fighting cancer.
