My Story
I am an avid runner and hiker; I do both for myself and especially those who cannot, like Vanessa. Since the organization first started I have been an avid supporter because I truly believe in their mission and all they do for safety awareness for female athletes everywhere. Every road race I participate in I faithfully wear my Vanessa T. Marcotte hat and every hike I embark on, I keep my hat tied to my pack or it is on me for a summit picture ( I think of it as my good luck charm).

Please support my charity run for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to empower women to live boldly and fearlessly, and to reduce violence, objectification and harassment. The Foundation furthers its mission by providing self-defense training and educational opportunities, and partnering with like-minded organizations to address the root causes of violence against women.
