My Story…
In August, I will be running the 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race for charity. My goal is to raise at least $1,200 for Stride for Stride. Stride for Stride is a non-profit running organization that buys race bibs for immigrant, BIPOC, and low-income runners. Stride for Stride’s goal is to make races more accessible and more diverse.
On a personal note, running has become my “third space” after home and work. Running has preserved my physical and emotional health. Also part of what motivates me to run is the inclusiveness and sense of community I feel when I join forces with Stride for Stride. I have met and run with the most powerful, inspirational, and beautiful humans on the Stride for Stride team. I want to increase this team’s continued positive impact on its national and global running community.
