My Story…
Hi, my name is Melissa and I am thrilled to be running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Surgical Oncology Fund!
Cancer is such a horrible disease that unfortunately affects so many of our lives. Oncology patients have a difficult road filled with many obstacles and ups and downs. The people who choose professions in the field of Oncology have a special place in my heart. Over the years Brigham and Woman’s Hospital (and their affiliates) have been wonderful to my family. Not only with exceptional clinical care but also their compassion and empathy. I am very happy to be a part of this team!
So please help me reach my fundraising goal of $1500 and support the BWH Surgical Oncology fund as I run my first Falmouth Road race with the memory of both my parents, who lost their battle with cancer, in my heart!
