Too often, these brave individuals feel forgotten, adrift in the very world they defended. To support these veterans, Heroes in Transition (HIT) emerges as a beacon of hope, unity, and empowerment, providing healing and resilience for those affected by service. Every stride I take in the Falmouth road race is a tribute to these heroes, particularly my parents, both proud army veterans, and my father, whose experiences forever altered him. HIT is more than a non-profit; it's a testament that we remember and honor our veterans. This year, as I lace up my running shoes once again, I invite you to join me in this cause.
