Hi, thank you so much for considering a donation. My Uncle Mike, also my godfather, was diagnosed with ALS last year. There aren’t many worse diseases, but he could not be handling it with more strength. Uncle Mike makes every place better and lights up any room with his positive energy, even now as he fights this awful disease. CCALS has been a great help to him and his family, so I am excited to be running for this team, and I hope our fundraising can help make a difference. If you can’t contribute monetarily, positive thoughts or prayers for him and my Auntie Juliet, and cousins Connor, Sean and Michaela would also be greatly appreciated.
Description
CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. All funds raised through the Falmouth Road Race go directly to assisting families with ALS.
