My name is Jasper Merrill and I will be running the Falmouth Road Race as a part of team KeepSmilin4Abbie, a foundation that was started shortly after that passing of Abbie Benford who lost her life due to anaphylaxis. The foundation is dedicated to raising awareness for the terrible disorder that over 15 million Americans are at risk of nation wide.
Through the efforts of the KeepSmilin4Abbie foundation, so much has been accomplished for people everywhere who are dealing with anaphylaxis. From partnering with Harvards Wyss Institute to help advance research and development of treatments for anaphylaxis to sponsoring educational speakers to come and talk to communities about food allergies and anaphylaxis as well as donating over 5,000 toys to Boston Children's Hospital. The KeepSmilin4Abbie team really does it all.
I look forward to running for such a great cause in August and I really appreciate any and all support that is given to the KeepSmilin4Abbie team. This is a really special foundation and I cant thank you enough for any contribution you're able to make. Keep Smilin' and remember #Stopanaphylaxis!
