My Story
I am so excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race for the first time and for the opportunity to raise money for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation! The mission of the organization is to empower women to live boldly and fearlessly, and to reduce violence, objectification, and harassment. The Foundation advocates for empowerment, safety awareness, and gender equality.
In the US, 1 out of every 6 women is victim of a completed or attempted rape. Over 80% of women report being assaulted or harassed while running. Running has helped me to feel like myself again. Let's continue to make it a safe space for everyone.

Please support my charity run for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to empower women to live boldly and fearlessly, and to reduce violence, objectification and harassment. The Foundation furthers its mission by providing self-defense training and educational opportunities, and partnering with like-minded organizations to address the root causes of violence against women.
