I'm Making My Miles More Meaningful
Dear friends, family, colleagues, and community members,
I am so excited to announce I am running in the Falmouth Road Race as part of the American Cancer Society’s team! Since graduating from WashU last Fall, I’ve had the honor of joining a clinical-stage biotech company and now work alongside talented colleagues to develop cellular therapies for the treatment of cancer. I chose to fundraise for the American Cancer Society because I believe in their vision of eradicating cancer through research, patient support programs, advocacy, and education initiatives. I am asking for your support in the form of a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Every dollar counts, and your support can make a tangible impact. According to the ACS:
“$10 helps to put free cancer education in the hands of those who need guidance.
$25 can help people facing breast cancer connect with trained survivors through our Road to Recovery program.
$50 can provide one (1) free ride to cancer treatment and invaluable relief to patients.
$100 can help three (3) people find free answers and much-needed emotional support through our 24/7 cancer hotline.
$200 can provide hope in the form of three (3) free nights of lodging at one of our Hope Lodges.”

Why I Support the American Cancer Society
Cancer has affected so many people I know and love that it’s inspired me to join this American Cancer Society event. Taking part in this event gives me the chance to make a difference and honor those touched by cancer by raising funds for groundbreaking research and services for people dealing with cancer. I’m also participating to inspire hope for those facing the disease and raising money for the American Cancer Society's event to help save lives from cancer. I hope you’ll consider signing up too.
Funds raised support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. This event also celebrates over 18 million cancer survivors nationwide. 18 MILLION. That’s huge.
