Support CCALS!
I’m running the Falmouth Road Race this year in honor of my Uncle Mike. Unfortunately he was recently diagnosed with ALS this past July and I want to participate as a part of this team to help support the cause of battling against the disease, and raising money to fund research so that one day no family needs to experience seeing a loved one battle against ALS. Uncle Mike is the definition of the person you want around. Anytime he comes to a family gathering everyone immediately knows it’s going to be a better time. He has this amazing ability to put a smile on everyone’s face, and always finds a way to make everyone have fun.
Description
CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. All funds raised through the Falmouth Road Race go directly to assisting families with ALS.
