Help Chris raise money

Hello! I'm taking part in ASICS Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Mass Eye and Ear, who do great work for a cause that's very important to me. Below I have described my personal experience with them and how they were able to provide outstanding care to both my girlfriend and one of my closest friends.

During college, it was discovered at a routine eye exam that my girlfriend's right retina was detaching. Luckily for her, she worked in Boston and had immediate access to the Mass Eye and Ear Longwood facility. We were both incredibly happy and grateful for the high-quality care and attention to detail that she received from the doctors and nursing staff throughout the entire procedure. Everyone had tremendous bedside manner and made sure to do everything possible to make her feel as comfortable as could be. It has been over four years since she had this done and has had absolutely no issues post-recovery.

Mass Eye and Ear was also there for one of my best friends who was diagnosed with Wegener's Disease during college. At a certain point, it had gotten so bad that his life was truly in jeopardy. Thanks to the great care and treatments that he was able to receive from Mass Eye and Ear, he was able to make a full recovery and get to a point where he just needs to monitor his condition. Otherwise, he has been able to return to living a normal lifestyle.

I have Mass Eye and Ear to thank for the continued health of two very important people in my life, and for that I will always be grateful. This year, I am hoping to show my gratitude by fundraising for a great cause. Any and all help I can get to reach my goal of $1,000 is greatly appreciated - thank you so much for your time and consideration!
