Support CCALS!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2023 Falmouth Road Race to support Compassionate Care ALS! I am excited to run this race’s seven miles in support of CCALS.
My dad was diagnosed with ALS in 2020 and passed away last summer after 2 years with the disease. The folks at CCALS were generous with their time and talked directly with my parents to help them understand how the disease could progress, what aides they could consider as they needed and understand what kinds of questions to consider and ask as the disease moves along.
Please give generously and assist CCALS in making a difference in the lives of family, friends and people with ALS!
Description
CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. All funds raised through the Falmouth Road Race go directly to assisting families with ALS.
