Support. Inspire. Empower.
I am running the Falmouth road race this year for Team Herren. I heard Chris Herren speak at my daughter’s high school years ago, Chris spoke about his path to recovery from drug addiction. He had a great message to everyone in the room that day about prevention of substance use, and wellness. I ask that you think of how substance has touched your life, your friends or families lives. My goal is to raise 850.00 dollars for The Herren Project . The money will allow Chris and his team., to continue on with his powerful and meaningful message.
I am running in memory of Joshua who died 2/22/22, from an accidental, toxic fentanyl overdose. He was 21 years old. He was a good friend , and had a heart for those in need.He was loved, fentanyl doesn’t care about any of these things ,one risky decision with one pill has left his family devastated.
Education and prevention concerning substance abuse is key, and I hope you, your family, and friends will help me to reach my goal, and cheer me on, to raise awareness of the prevalence of this life changing , devastating mental illness.
