Hi Everyone!
This year I am running in my third Falmouth Road Race for The Keep Smilin' 4 Abbie Foundation in August! I am so excited to begin fundraising as this foundation not only means the world to me, but to those who have been affected by anaphylaxis as well.
Abbie and I became very close in our early high school years. Her infectious laugh and positive attitude made any event, big or small, something to remember. Eight days before her 16th birthday, Abbie passed away after suffering from an anaphylactic reaction. The Keep Smilin' 4 Abbie Foundation was created to keep her memory alive and spread awareness about anaphylaxis.
The past few years have been difficult for all of us so if you are not in the position to donate, please consider sharing this with friends and/or family! I am beyond honored to be a part of this amazing foundation/team and am looking forward to completing this 7-mile race! Any and all support is greatly appreciated :)
