My Story…
My family has lived in the Cape Cod area since the 1950s starting with my great grandparents, and I have been coming here for all 17 years of my life. Cape Cod has done so much for both me and my family, so I am running to give back to the community.
Description
The Cape Cod Times Needy Fund, Inc. has been helping local residents since 1936. Our mission is to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs such as housing, food, medical needs, transportation and heat, to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Most of the money raised comes from Cape Cod individuals, families, businesses, clubs, civic organizations, schools and faith communities - "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" is what the Needy Fund is all about.
