As parents of a child with severe life threatening food allergies, my wife and I know all too well the questions and challenges faced by families in similar situations -- constantly worrying if our child will be safe and wondering if new treatments will become available. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, New England Chapter (AAFNE) has been an invaluable source of information and support for our family as we have navigated through life with food allergies. I am happy to run the Falmouth Road Race on August 20th to raise money for this great organization. I hope you can support me in this fundraising effort.

How many of your family members and friends are affected by food allergies, environmental allergies, or have asthma? Very likely, more and more. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, New England Chapter helps people with such conditions live healthier, safer and more active lives through patient education, public awareness and continuing research. It's been our mission since 1979 -- and it's becoming more important than ever.
