I am excited to announce that I will be running the 2023 Falmouth Road Race for Family Reach. This is an amazing organization that provides non-medical financial support to families facing cancer. The emotional and financial burdens of cancer can be overwhelming, leaving families struggling to meet their basic needs, including housing, food and other essential expenses. Family Reach has been a beacon of hope for countless families providing them with the financial support they need and bringing much needed relief to families during their most challenging times. Description
Family Reach is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to removing the financial barriers standing between a cancer patient and their treatment. Loss of income, out-of-pocket expenses, and socioeconomic factors create disparities in the financial burdens families face. Family Reach delivers financial education, financial planning, resource navigation, and emergency relief funds to patients and caregivers facing a cancer diagnosis so no family has to choose between their health and their home.
