My Story…
Please consider donating to my fundraiser for Boston Public School’s youth running program. I already ran the race on August 20, but I will be collecting donations until September 30.
I had never run more than one mile in my entire life until I was 25-years-old. I was about one year into my Ph.D. program at OU, and my mental health was in serious decline (doctoral programs can really break you down). Running has helped me with depression, stress management, anxiety, motivation, and self-esteem. It has improved my physical, mental, and emotional health. Because of that, I want to give back, to help ensure young people have access to athletics programs early on, regardless of their financial situation. Thank for your contribution!

I am running with the Boston Road Runners to raise funds for the Boston Public Schools Youth Running Program. This program provides kids with the chance to improve their fitness, build confidence, and learn important life skills through the joy of running. Physical activity is crucial for children's health and development, and this program makes it accessible for all children, regardless of financial situation. By making a donation today, you can help ensure every child who wants to participate can do so.
Your contribution will help cover the cost of appropriate clothing and footwear, coaching, and event fees. Your support will help make a difference in the lives of these young athletes by giving them the tools they need to succeed not only on the track, but their lives as well.
