Team Eye and Ear Falmouth 2023
This year I am running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Massachusetts Eye and Ear. As you all know, in the last two years I have lost both of my parents. What you may not know is that if it weren’t for the doctors and nurses at MEEI I may have lost them a lot sooner. In 2001, my mother was first diagnosed with Ocular Melanoma. She entered a clinical trial at MEEI and thanks to targeted radiation we got 20 more years with her. In 2015, my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor above his left ear drum. After a 10 hour surgery at MGH/MEEI it was successfully removed with clear margins. I obviously wish my parents were still here but I am so grateful to MEEI for giving me and my brother so many more years with them. Please consider a donation
