Our story…

To The Moon and Back is a 501(c)3 dedicated to children born with in utero substance exposure and their families. Since 2017 we have been the leader in providing support, education, and advocacy for the littlest victims of the opioid epidemic.


Where Does Your Support Go??!!


Caregiver Support Groups for foster and adoptive parents, and relative caregivers caring for children born substance exposed, twice a month in person and online. 

Kids Groups like yoga, karate, and sensory-play, aimed to support the developmental deficits that children born opiate-dependent often experience.

Children’s Grant assists families with uncovered expenses, related to their child’s in utero substance exposure. This may include things like nutritional supplements, weighted blankets, transportation to appointments and therapy services. Download Application.

The Caregiver’s Guide to NAS & Beyond is a resource guide developed by families, caregivers and providers to explain the resources and services that are available to meet the needs commonly experienced by a child born with substance exposure.  View Online Guide.

Nurture A Superhero Care Packages that includes essential items to help soothe a newborn during the withdrawal phase of NAS. It includes a swaddle, pacifiers, diaper ointment, calming baby balm, bottle, and toy.

A Caregiver’s Journey video series from the perspective of an adoptive and foster parent, relative, professional, and mom in recovery around raising a child with NAS and what to expect. 

Community Presentations on Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome to raise awareness about the continuing needs of children born with NAS.

Beyond NAS Conference is held annually for providers and families to learn about the cutting edge in research, resources, and interventions to help children born with NAS.

Consultation Services to both caregivers and providers on how to provide support to children born with NAS and how to access available community resources.

Advocating with our local legislators to inform them on the needs of our community of children and families and to get funding to programs to support them.

Educational Advocacy offered for four free hours with an educational advocate who is able to review documentation and make recommendations on the next steps to ensure each child’s education needs are met through the school system.
