My Story…
The Downtown Eastside Women's Centre (DEWC) is an indispensable refuge for the 750+ self-identified women and children who access its services every day. DEWC provides daily meals, housing support, skills development, and culturally-specific programming for Indigenous women and Chinese seniors. Supporting DEWC means standing up for women who are facing poverty, homelessness, lack of access to health supports, and high levels of violence and racism.
