My Story…
I had a friend in Colorado who was working successfully through his HIV diagnosis and making great progress in avoiding full-blown AIDS. This was many years ago, when there were less treatments available. Because he was successful for a while in staving off this terrible disease, he was able to father a child which was his dream. Unfortunately, he did not continue to follow his medical regimen and eventually died. His ashes were scattered in Garden of the Gods.
Please help those in our community that are needing assistance in these times of anti-LGBQT+ sentiments that are running rampant and affecting care for these individuals.
Description
All contributions are important! These funds will go directly to helping folx living with HIV thrive through the Bruce Williams Foundation and Common Bond HIV Emergency Fund.
Since 1988, the HIV Emergency Project has helped prevent homelessness for low-income New Mexicans living with HIV/AIDS. On a “last resort” basis, we provide financial assistance for rent, utilities, medical bills, and other necessities of life to help them remain in treatment and reduce the chance of spreading further infection in the state.
