Black Child Development Institute of Greensboro, Inc

With a storied history of over 40 years in the community, BCDI-G is a nonprofit organization that offers NO COST academic support programs to students in eligible schools in Guilford County. Through our Bridge Afterschool and E3 (Equip, Educate, Empower) Summer programs, BCDI-G provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment to students year-round.

Because our focus is serving students from marginalized communities, BCDI-G invests time and resources in programming to help students combat difficulties experienced as a result of access and resource shortfalls. Through a broad range of enrichment activities and educational resources that span math, reading, STEM, nutrition, social emotional learning, and more, BCDI-G empowers our students to grow through and meet challenges head-on with confidence and optimism.

BCDI-G is resolved to help students meet and exceed the challenging state academic standards but more importantly, we’re committed to ensuring our students improve their life outcomes. By empowering our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in school and beyond, It is BCDI-G's hope that we're guiding them to a bigger and brighter future!
