My Story…
Haynes-Inman is a school for students, ages 3 to 22, with significant disabilities. Treating our students, families and one another with respect and dignity has been important to us since day one. We believe it is part of our job to make the world as big as possible for our students, and sometimes for our community friends, too. Helping our students talk back to and experience the world is a priority. Most of our school-age students are non-speaking and need the help of a wheelchair to navigate their environment. We seek multiple ways for our students to access their “voice.” Our students often use facial expressions, gestures, signs, pictures, or voice activated switches to communicate. Our students are excited to learn, with many unique gifts and deserve the opportunity. With continued assistance from our community, we can make sure that happens. Thanks for your support!
