Come Join Our 5K Fun Run!
The Colour Run/Walk will take place the morning of Saturday, June 3rd. Starting at the Doug Barnes cabin, you will walk or run approximately 5 KM through the upper trails of Birchwood Trail.
Before going out on course there will be a group colour toss. Once on course, you will pass through several colour stations where more colour will be tossed at you and after everyone is back to the finish area there will be one more group colour toss! Think lots and lots of colour and a whole bunch of very happy people!
The DJ and the MC will keep things energized throughout the morning and prizes are awarded at the end of the event for best costume (individual, family and team) and there are lots of great door prizes as well. Participants also get to vote on the best colour station too!
Hues for Humanity is a fun way to support Canadian Humanitarian’s educational support programs for at-risk children in developing nations, while enjoying time with family and friends. By participating in the Hues for Humanity walk/run in Ft. McMurray you will become an integral part of helping these children build their lives.
100% of the profits earned from Hues for Humanity events are used to support Canadian Humanitarian’s education, health and empowerment initiatives around the world. Each year Canadian Humanitarian provides educational, medical, and social-emotional support to over 1000 children in Ethiopia, and Guatemala.
