My Story…
I will be taking 26000 steps for 26000 kids between May 7 and 13 to benefit Lutherwood’s programs for children’s mental health. Before COVID-19 restrictions began in 2020, I saw first hand the struggles of the youth I tutored in math class at Lutherwood’s Benjamin Road location. I am also currently working through Lutherwood with a teen at the Rosemount Schools who has mental health challenges. I saw the renewed confidence, determination and relief of those who completed the programs at Benjamin Road. But Lutherwood needs our help to keep the programs going at full capacity.
On May 7, I will kickstart my 26000 steps by participating in the 5 km in-person walk.
