My Story…
I am proud to say I started the Yale Headache Medicine program in 2012; we now have 6 full-time faculty, a fellowship training program, an outpatient infusion program for prolonged, severe attacks staffed by a full-time nurse, a dedicated clinical team and many satisfied patients.
Our biggest challenge is TIME--we have waitlists of 4-8 months for new patients. We need more specialists! Migraine is the most disabling neurological condition by far, and now that word is out that we are here to help, the line is growing daily. Miles for Migraine events raise funds to support training fellows so that we can grow and deliver ever-better, more individualized care. Help me meet our goal and make your voices heard!
