Help Alison raise money

Will I be participating in the JWRC 5K at Lake Phalen on October 14th? Absolutely. I know first hand the importance of the services of JWRC for families of the missing and exploited. I know the power of prevention. I am looking forward to seeing people in real life who believe in making the world better for kids.

Will I be engaging in more of a brisk walk than an actual run this year? Yes. My kiddo is hoping that we "don't come in last place." I explained if she stops less to look at rocks and balance on tree stumps, we will probably be ok. I also explained that there is no such thing as last place when helping support the work of JWRC, but she is not yet convinced. She is excited about matching t-shirts. I'm guessing the joy of matching outfits with a parent will only last for a year or two more. Related, If anyone has some kind of running wagon or running stroller like contraption for a 5 year old that I can borrow for one day in October, let me know. There was a lot more of me carrying her last year than I expected.

Be aware if you walk with us on October 14th, there will likely be many kiddo initiated stops to inspect nature. That could be a draw for some of you.
