My Story…

As so many know, I suffered a life altering SCAD heart attack on January 9, 2023, the day before my son turned 5 and again the next morning. Before that date, the idea of heart issues never crossed my mind. I count my blessings daily as I know how extremely lucky I am to be alive. I live each day loving my children and knowing I have so much more to give to them and all the people I love in this world.  My goal is to spread awareness to young mothers and help them understand a SCAD heart attack is a possibility postpartum and to keep an eye on the warning signs. I never knew extreme upper back pain was a sign of a heart attack.
