My Story…
I have chronic migraine. Migraines run in my family, so I was exposed to them at a young age. I first started having migraines when I was about 13 years old. It wasn't until I was 19 years old that I started being treated for migraines, and at 22 years old I was diagnosed with chronic migraine. To say that migraines have had a negative impact on my life would be an understatement. I've missed so much cooped up at home with a migraine, when all I wanted to do was go out and live my life. Luckily, I now have a treatment plan that greatly reduces the severity and impact of my migraines, but that wouldn't be possible without migraine research thanks to things like Miles for Migraine.
