Miles for migraine was created to improve the lives of patients and their families, and to ultimately help to find a cure for migraine.

I began having migraines as a child with and with out vestibular symptoms. As I got older, I developed chronic migraines and the vestibular attacks became more severe and debilitating, requiring medical attention. Over the years, I went to several neurologists and ENTs that couldn’t help me before I ended up at the Jefferson Headache Center in 2019. I have nothing but positive things to say about the clinical team. For me, Jefferson Headache Center was a last resort and I didn’t know what to expect. After trying many different medications and treatments, I am having fewer migraines, and for the first time ever I have not had a vestibular attack in over a year. My quality of life has greatly improved. I know there is a possibility that this relief won’t last even with continuing my current treatment plan, but I would not have made any progress if it weren’t for Jefferson and the advancement of migraine treatment. 

Sadly, migraine research is severely underfunded despite affecting 1 in 7 people. Preventatives I take, such as CGRP blockers and botox injections, are unaffordable with out insurance.  Please consider donating to help others like myself that would greatly benefit from a cure.
