Help Shirley raise money

Dear Friends, I have been affected by migraine since the day I was born. My mom spent countless days in bed and could not take oral meds because of vomiting. Migraine is so much more than a headache. I inherited this disease and at age 25 left behind a Master's degree due to the disability it causes. Two of my 3 daughters inherited migraine ( I had no idea it was genetic way back when). 

I am honored to have the opportunity to work in a community of people who are passionate about eradicating stigma and funding more research for better treatments. We also have shortage of Headache and Migraine doctors in the US. Some newly diagnosed patients wait up to 1 year to get treatment. This wait ads to suffering and its unfair! 

Your donation will fund the fellowship program at Jefferson Hospital and also The Children's Hospital of Phila. Did you know that 10% of kids are affected by migraine and other headache disorders? Many go undiagnosed and are forced into a state of confusion because grown ups don't have the knowledge to recognize they have migraine, or worse, cluster headache.
