My Story…
This is the fifth year we will be participating in mental health walks throughout Illinois, in memory of my son Nathan Turner. Nathan was 19 when we lost him and our lives are impacted daily by his loss.
Suicide is real. It touches families like yours and mine. It reaches into our kids' schools, our workplaces, our neighborhoods, our churches, our sports clubs, our bedrooms, our own minds. It is everywhere, and hits us at the most unexpected time.
The money raised through this walk will assist SPS (Batavia) with its school outreach program (outreaching to children and being available in crisis control/prevention) depression screening, counseling, support groups, and other community support programs.
All donations are 100% tax deductible. Donating online is safe and easy. To make an online donation please click the "Donate Now" button at the top of this page. And if your company provides company matches, don’t forget to submit for them!
Our family thanks you for your donation and support.
