Help us raise money

It has been four years since I last got to hold my sweet Finn who was born sleeping on March 19, 2019, the same day that his twin brother Rowan was born alive. This day continues to be a day of confusion and conflicting emotions every year. We were never given an explanation for why Finn passed away and that still eats at my heart daily. Rowan is an amazing, special boy and we miss Finn every single day. 

I am forever thankful for my nurse who knew to call in a photographer from Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep to take pictures of Finn after he was born. We have his pictures around our house and we treasure them. NILMDTS took our only complete family picture that we will ever have. What a gift!

Parenting through grief is hard but these pictures help keep Finn alive in our hearts. We like to talk about what we think Finn would look like today if he was still with us. We try to guess what toys he would be in to or what sports he would sign up for this year. We wonder what it would be like with three little boys in our house instead of two. Finn will always be our biggest "what if". 

The mission of NILMDTS is to introduce remembrance photography to parents experiencing the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture. They also provide free photography touch-ups if you take pictures of your own. It truly is a service you never know you'd need until you need it. NILMDTS recruits, trains, and mobilizes professional quality photographers around the world. Through NILMDTS, medical providers are given a meaningful option to offer bereaved parents by creating remembrance portraiture for their babies.

In honor of Finn's 4th birthday, I would like to raise $1,000 for this amazing organization so that they can continue to offer this priceless gift to bereaved parents.
