I have been dealing with endo (diagnosed) for the past few years. The debilitating pain from this disease has caused me to miss work and has slowed me down immensely. 

On March 2, I underwent excision surgery and a hysterectomy , as my disease was severe (stage 4) and impacting my quality of life. Like many others, not all of my endo was able to be removed and will likely continue to impact me and more surgeries will be in my future.    

Before my diagnosis, I had NO idea what endometriosis was. There needs to be more conversations about women’s health and doctors need to take the pain seriously.
